FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How does Zoomies work?
We are a dog walking service that caters to Hoboken dog parents who have changing schedules and need irregular or sporadic dog walks. Clients book on our app. Our walkers check in via the app when starting a walk. The app provides check in email notifications as well as a check out email with GPS map of walk, notes and photos. Our schedules and booking work with a two hour pickup window.
  • Who would be walking my dog?
Because we cater to those with varying dog walking needs, your dog walker may vary from walk to walk but we will do our best to give your pup a regular walker. Our walkers are thoroughly vetted, trained and background checked. Our team is briefed on all protocols for your dog via notes on your account on our app.
  • What are your hours? How much notice do you need for booking?
Our business hours are 10AM-7PM Monday-Friday and 12PM-7PM Saturday & Sunday. We are closed on Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. We recommend you book walks the night before by 8PM using our app. Weekend walks must be booked by Wednesday. For any walks needed after the cut off please contact us via text/email. We will work with you!
  • How does your team walk dogs?
Safety first. We do not accept dogs that have a bite history, have aggressive tendencies or are extremely fearful. We value the wellbeing of our walkers and dog clients. We only walk 1-3 dogs at a time. We do not take our dog clients to dog parks. Each team member also wears a walking belt that we clip our dogs to. We also use our very own Zoomies safety leashes. Our team is trained to give our pups nice long walks around town.
  • How do I become a client?
Simply fill out our contact form. A manager from our team will reach out. We will schedule a meet and greet. During the meeting we will familiarize ourselves with your dog and your needs. Once your account is created we will take very detailed notes so all future team members are up to speed on how to best care for your pup. You can email, text or call us for any ongoing support.
